These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all tattoo services provided by Gatts LLC, a California limited liability company (“Gatts LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or receiving tattoo services, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book or receive services.

2. AGE & IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo.

• A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the time of your appointment.

• No exceptions will be made.

• Parental consent is not accepted, regardless of age or circumstance.

Failure to provide valid ID will result in refusal of service and forfeiture of any deposit.

3. HEALTH DISCLOSURE & CLIENT CONSENT

By receiving a tattoo from Gatts LLC, you confirm that:

• You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Diabetes

  • Heart conditions

  • Blood disorders

  • Autoimmune disorders

  • Pregnancy

• You have disclosed any medications that may affect healing or bleeding.

• You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• You are receiving the tattoo of your own free will.

Failure to disclose health information releases Gatts LLC and its artists from all liability related to complications.

4. ARTIST RIGHTS & REFUSAL OF SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Inability to provide valid ID

• Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior

• Health conditions that pose a risk

• Failure to follow studio policies

Refusal of service due to these reasons may result in loss of deposit.

5. FINANCIAL POLICIES

Minimum Charges

• All tattoos are subject to minimum pricing, regardless of size or time required.

Deposits

• A deposit is required to book any appointment.

• Deposits are applied toward the final price.

• Deposits are non-refundable for:

  • No-shows

  • Late cancellations

  • Failure to meet booking requirements

Final Sales

• All tattoo services are final.

• No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction, personal preference changes, or regret.

6. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

• No-shows automatically forfeit deposits and may be denied future bookings.

7. DESIGN OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT

• All custom tattoo designs remain the intellectual property of the artist.

• Designs may not be reproduced, copied, sold, or used commercially without written permission.

• Gatts LLC reserves the right to photograph completed tattoos for portfolio, marketing, and social media use unless you explicitly opt out in writing.

8. TOUCH-UPS

• Touch-ups are not guaranteed.

• Even when offered as “free,” touch-ups may involve a fee to cover materials and time.

• Touch-up eligibility may be void if aftercare instructions are not followed.

9. AFTERCARE RESPONSIBILITY

You are solely responsible for proper aftercare, including but not limited to:

• Avoiding sun exposure

• Avoiding soaking (pools, oceans, baths)

• Following all aftercare instructions provided

Failure to follow aftercare instructions releases the artist and Gatts LLC from responsibility for infections, fading, scarring, or other complications.

10. STUDIO RULES

For the safety and comfort of all clients and staff:

• No children are allowed in the studio.

• No drugs or alcohol are permitted.

• Only the paying client is allowed in the tattoo area unless otherwise approved.

Violation of studio rules may result in refusal of service and forfeiture of deposit.

11. CLIENT PREPARATION & RESPONSIBILITY

Before your appointment, you agree to:

• Research the artist’s pricing structure (hourly vs. flat rate)

• Clearly communicate design ideas, placement, and concerns

• Eat a full meal and stay hydrated

• Avoid alcohol and drugs for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment

Failure to properly prepare may impact the tattoo process and outcome.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gatts LLC shall not be liable for:

• Allergic reactions

• Improper healing due to aftercare failure

• Changes in tattoo appearance over time

• Any indirect or consequential damages

13. GATTS LLC MESSAGING

When users opt in, they will receive appointment confirmation & reminders after booking an appointment with our company.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
